Wiedenmann UK brings aeration line-up to GroundsFest
Aeration will be firmly in the spotlight for Wiedenmann UK at GroundsFest, with machines from across its Terra Spike range joined by the UK show debut of the compact Terra Core M6 pedestrian aerator.
Four Terra Spikes – the SL6, XP6, GXi8 and XD8 – will demonstrate the depth, speed and versatility that have made the range a familiar sight on golf courses and sports grounds across the UK.
At the deeper end of the range, the XP works to depths of 400 mm, while the XD reaches 275 mm. Together with the SL6 and high-speed GXi8, the line-up gives turf managers considerable scope to tailor aeration to conditions, season and the job in hand.
Adding a new dimension to the aeration line-up is the Terra Core M6. Its compact, pedestrian format opens up areas where tractor-mounted equipment simply isn’t practical. The M6 is an exciting addition so be sure to come and take a first look.
Beyond aeration, Wiedenmann will have plenty more of its favourite kit on the stand.
The Super collection range will be represented by the Super 600, offering options for collecting leaves, grass clippings, scarifying debris and other material.
Also on show will be both Wiedenmann’s swivel blowers, the Mega and the Whisper, bringing speed and control to leaf and debris clearance. Their ability to direct airflow exactly where it’s needed means material can often be cleared in a single pass, avoiding repeated runs over the same ground and helping protect the surface beneath.
Completing the line-up is the Terra Float Air pneumatic over seeder and soil conditioner. Designed for accurate, low-disturbance overseeding, its electric seed metering system is particularly suited to a ‘little and often’ approach to introducing fresh grass varieties and maintaining sward density.
With live demonstrations running during the event, GroundsFest gives visitors the chance to see Wiedenmann machines doing what they do best – working – and to talk through applications, settings and options with the Wiedenmann UK team.
