Toro ® Flex-Force Mower paves the way for electric gardening
Toro, a global leader in turf and landscape maintenance, recently announced its new battery-powered range of garden tools – the Flex-Force Power System ® , which includes a Cordless String Trimmer, Leaf Blower and 55cm Recycler ® Cordless Mower.
The Flex-Force range of products can all utilise the same interchangeable, lithium-ion battery for maximum versatility. With three battery options to choose from, each offers a different level of power, with varying applications being more suited to certain power levels. The versatile power and heavy-duty batteries are much better suited to medium and larger areas where mowing, trimming and blowing are all needed. Whereas the compact power battery is perfect for hand tools.
The Flex-Force Recycler mower uses an extra-long 55cm blade, meaning users will be able to cut a much wider path, making the job easier. The steel deck was also designed to last and provide a durability that plastic decks can’t match.
The Recycler mower also works to save users time and help them finish the work faster, while still maintaining an easy-to-use experience. The Recycler utilises the extremely intelligent RunSmart™ software, which works to provide much smarter power usage. The system will automatically adjust the mower’s power and speed output to match the conditions being mowed, therefore helping to deliver more power when needed, or provide a longer running time in easier conditions.
With the Automatic Drive System, the mower can sense the users walking pace and smoothly adjust the speed and power output to match, putting the user in control of how fast they would like to mow. Be sure to utilise the Recycle on Demand lever, which can quickly switch between bagging the clippings and recycling them into a mulch, in just the flip of a lever.
Other features of the Flex-Force Recycler mower also include an easy wash hose port to quickly and simply wash away clippings in the deck to maintain the ideal cutting performance, as well as the Toro SmartStow ® function which will help to reduce storage space by up to 70% compared to other 55cm mowers.
The Flex-Force range, including the Recycler mower, is available this spring.
