BASIS at BTME 2026, CPD Opportunities and a First Look at the Future of Amenity Assured
BASIS will be exhibiting at BTME 2026, giving delegates the chance to gain valuable CPD points while also finding out more about the future direction of the Amenity Assured scheme.
Members attending BTME can earn two CPD points for general attendance, with up to six points per day available by taking part in the BASIS Knowledge Trail. The trail is designed to encourage learning, discussion and engagement with leading industry suppliers throughout the show. Confirmed Knowledge Trail partners include DLF, GreenBest, TechNeat, Origin Amenity, Lantra and ICL.
The event will also provide an opportunity for members and those working across the amenity sector to speak directly with the BASIS team about the ongoing development of Amenity Assured. A revised version of the scheme is currently being developed and will be launched soon, and BTME offers a valuable forum to ask questions, share feedback and understand how the changes will work in practice.
Amenity Assured is a voluntary, independently audited scheme for organisations working in the amenity sector. Recognised by both government and industry, it helps businesses demonstrate their commitment to environmental responsibility, the sustainable use of plant protection products, and high standards of health and safety.
The updated scheme is being designed to be clearer, more consistent and more robust, with revised standards covering all areas of the amenity sector. There will be a stronger emphasis on integrated pest management, accurate record keeping and operator competence, alongside defined pathways for both businesses and individuals to ensure a consistent approach across different types of work.
