Allett Omnia: Redefining Professional Turf Care for Stadiums and Fine Turf

The Allett Omnia range has been developed from the ground up to meet the demands of modern professional grounds teams, combining advanced battery technology, direct-drive engineering and a strong focus on operator usability and long-term reliability.

Developed over more than five years, Omnia represents a complete rethink of how professional electric pedestrian mowers should be designed, operated and maintained in today’s high-performance sports environments.

At the centre of the range is the Vanguard® Commercial Lithium-Ion Battery system, offering capacities of up to 7.0kWh on larger models. According to Allett, this provides up to 20 percent greater capacity than comparable professional pedestrian machines, delivering extended runtimes for stadium and multi-pitch operations. All batteries are backed by an industry-leading eight-year warranty, reinforcing confidence in long-term durability.

Omnia’s direct-drive architecture is designed to maximise efficiency while reducing maintenance requirements. Dual 1000W rear roller motors eliminate the need for belts, chains and differential systems while also assisting manoeuvrability and turning. A dedicated 2000W blade motor delivers consistent torque in dense grass conditions and when operating the machine’s extensive range of interchangeable cutting and cultivation heads.

The result is near-silent operation, excellent energy efficiency and highly consistent cut quality across a wide variety of conditions.

Designed under an “Operator First” philosophy, Omnia places major emphasis on reducing operator fatigue and simplifying day-to-day use. Smart Steering Assist automatically adjusts roller speed during turns for smoother handling, while the Nexus™ Hitch System removes the need to manually lift cutting or cultivation heads. Auto-ID technology also automatically recognises attached heads and adjusts settings accordingly.

A 3.5-inch colour display provides operators with live information including travel speed, blade speed, clip rate, battery status and maintenance prompts with QR-linked diagnostics.

Beyond mowing, Omnia has been designed as a true multi-task platform. With ultra-slow crawl speeds, heavier sorrel roller options and a wide range of interchangeable heads, the same drive unit can be used for mowing, grooming, verticutting, scarifying and deep cultivation.

By eliminating traditional service-intensive components such as differential gears, oil baths, chains and most belts, Allett has also significantly reduced routine maintenance requirements and simplified long-term ownership.

With Omnia, Allett is aiming to set a new benchmark for professional pedestrian turfcare.
